Esther van Overbeek

Photography has fascinated Esther van Overbeek since childhood. As a child, she already took pictures with a Polaroid camera; as an adolescent, she got her first analogue SLR camera. After a creative journey from macro photography to landscape and portrait photography, she finally arrived in the wonderful world of multi-exposure creations merged in camera (not in Photoshop, because, as she says, “that’s no fun”). She wants to amaze you, make you see the world in a different way. Esther was inspired by impressionists like Van Gogh and Monet, which is reflected in much of her photographic art.
